Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Georavity API ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. "You" refers to the individual or entity using the Service. "We", "us", and "Georavity" refer to the operators of the Georavity platform.

Georavity provides geospatial intelligence APIs including routing, geocoding, isochrone analysis, distance matrices, elevation data, and map tiles. The Service is provided as-is via HTTPS endpoints at api.georavity.com.

• Each account may hold up to 5 active API keys.
• API keys are confidential credentials. You are responsible for their security.
• Sharing keys publicly (e.g., in client-side code without origin restrictions) is at your own risk.
• We may revoke keys that are used abusively or in violation of these terms.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws.
• Circumvent rate limits, quota enforcement, or authentication mechanisms.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Resell or redistribute API access without written permission.
• Use the Service to build a competing routing or geocoding API.
• Overwhelm the Service with automated requests beyond your plan's rate limits.

• Free tier: 10,000 requests/month, 100 req/min. No credit card required. Free forever.
• Paid plans: Billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are in USD.
• Overage beyond your plan's quota results in 429 responses, not additional charges.
• You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact [email protected].

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• We never store your request coordinates or routing results.
• Only aggregated, anonymous usage counts are retained for billing.
• All processing occurs in EU data centers (Germany).

• API outputs (routes, geocoding results, isochrones) are yours. We make no claims on them.
• Map data is sourced from OpenStreetMap under the ODbL license.
• The Georavity name, logo, and API design are our intellectual property.

• We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• Maintenance windows will be announced in advance when possible.
• SLA guarantees are available for Enterprise plan customers.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GEORAVITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nuremberg, Germany.
